Are You Happy?
Apr. 19th, 2017 05:34 pmAm I happy? lol Pre-sales for the Are you happy dvd happened Easter evening and I have such mixed feelings about it although I know there is nothing I can do to change things.
1. The whole Bluray + DVD: WHY JOHNNY'S WHY?! I don't understand it one bit. Putting aside the fact that I can't even play Japan region dvds on my bluray player at home, it's like taking a freaking step backward since bluray releases as far back as Hawaii have had their extras on bluray as well. Quality is effing important, I don't get why it's taken them forever to see the potential in bluray quality.
2. SPLIT EXTRAS. You might as well call the Regular Edition, Limited Edition B, but whatever. I feel like J&A would have made more money had Japonism Arena been it's own separate release since they could up that price by putting extras for that as well and done the whole LE, RE thing. But no you're combining it with the Dome Tour dvd and only giving it to us in DVD quality. And it's honestly probably lucky that we're getting the Arena on a release anyways. -_-
This is my beef with this recent release. Now on to the good stuff.
Can we say FINALLY? I mean, seriously, it was already freaking April and we hadn't heard any word on Japonism Arena. We were starting to lose hope! How can they be so quick to release some things and then make you wait an eternity for others. It'd be so amazing to be in the meetings these release date discussions.
